New Client
SoleCal Barefoot Massage & Wellness takes your safety and well-being very seriously. I follow Federal, State, County, and City guidelines as well as guidelines provided by ABMP to ensure you have a safe and pleasant experience.
Health and Wellness policies (listed below) will always apply, so please continue to stay home if you’re sick, not feeling well, or have anything “lingering.”
Booking and Payment
Making Your Appointment
The quickest way to book is to schedule online. Availability is always current. A valid credit card is required to reserve your appointment, along with prepayment in full at the time of booking.
Cash and personal checks are not accepted for first-time appointments. For recurring appointments, exact cash is accepted, but personal checks are not.
Same-day appointments are not accepted.
Once you’re scheduled, you’ll get an automated confirmation text and email (check your junk/spam folder!). Your preparation email goes out the morning before your appointment and includes everything you need.
Please submit it more than 24 hours before your session. Everything you share is confidential. You can also use the button below to fill out your forms.
If I don’t answer the phone, I’m most likely with a client or out of the office. Leave a message and I’ll return your call at my earliest convenience during business hours. No texting.
All Sales Final
All services, classes, memberships, and retail purchases are non-refundable. If you need to cancel with more than 24 hours notice, it’s your responsibility to reschedule based on current availability.
Health and Hygiene
Before Your Session
Make sure your personal hygiene is acceptable when receiving your massage. Dirty feet will not receive work. Please skip heavy fragrances as well since I’m allergic.
I can’t provide services to anyone with a contagious illness, including a cold, flu, or anything “lingering” like a cough. If you’re not feeling well, please reschedule out of respect and safety for me and other clients. Call or send me an email.
If you’ve had surgery or cosmetic work in the last 72 hours to 9 months, an injury in the last 24 hours, or have a medical condition, let me know before your appointment. It may affect scheduling. Review my FAQ page for more insight.
Regarding masks: if you want to wear one, I will too. If either of us has the sniffles, we’ll both mask up. During a local illness surge, masks will be required for everyone until it passes.
Vaccines/Shots
Please wait at least 7 days after any vaccine or shot before your session. If you’re still experiencing symptoms after 7 days, please hold off scheduling until they’ve cleared.
Appointment Policies
Arrival
It’s necessary to arrive 15 minutes early so we can start on time. This gives you time to use the restroom, settle in, and complete a thorough consultation.
Late Arrivals
If you’re running late, call to let me know. Your session will still end at its originally scheduled time regardless of when you arrive. I’ll assess whether there’s enough time to begin once you’re here.
If you’re more than 15 minutes late without calling, I’ll assume you’re not coming, which may mean I leave the building or start my next client early. Please plan ahead and arrive on time out of respect for everyone’s schedule.
Rescheduling – 24 Hour Notice Required
Life happens. You may reschedule with at least 24 hours notice by phone, email, or online and your prepaid credit stays on your account for your new date.
Late Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours notice forfeit the prepaid session, membership credit, or class fee. This compensates for the time I’ve reserved and am unable to fill on short notice.
Schedule Integrity
Clients who frequently reschedule or cancel with less than 24 hours notice may lose the ability to book future appointments.
Class Integrity
Classes proceed as long as one student is registered. If no one’s registered 24 hours before the start time, the class is cancelled and the slot released.
Memberships, Packages, and Promotions
Memberships
Membership fees are automatically debited from your account on the first of each month, based on your tier. There are no long-term contracts or initial fees, and unused sessions don’t roll over.
If your card is declined on the 1st, it’s your responsibility to pay the invoice by 7:00pm PST that day. If it’s not paid, you’ll receive an invoice via Vagaro for the full amount plus a $30 fee, due before your next appointment.
Unpaid invoices by the month’s end will result in membership termination and the balance due immediately.
To cancel your membership, give written notice at least 30 days before your next invoice.
Packages and Series
Prepaid packages and series are paid upfront and must be used before the expiration date. Unused sessions don’t roll over.
Coupons and Promotions
Coupons and promotions can’t be combined with other offers, apply to a single session only, must be used by their expiration date, and hold no cash value.
Conduct and Right to Refuse Services
I reserve the right to end any session at my discretion. You may still be responsible for payment. If the session was prepaid, it will be considered used with no refund.
Inappropriate behavior won’t be tolerated. Any comment or act that makes me uncomfortable will result in immediate termination of the session, with full payment required, and may be reported to local police. These clients will no longer be able to receive treatment at SoleCal.
Other reasons a session may be terminated:
- Contagious illness such as cold, flu, or anything that is “lingering”
- Being under the influence of pain killers whether OTC or prescription, alcohol, or other drugs causing the client not to be able to accurately gauge pain
- Poor hygiene
- Being late, cancelling last minute, or chronically rescheduling
Minors
Clients ages 17 and younger must have a parent or guardian present to give consent, sign paperwork, and remain in the room for the entire session.
